Simulation R&D Engineer

Raspoloživih mjesta: 1

If you opt for a summer internship with us at Yazaki, we offer you the possibility to directly work in some of the most dynamic Teams at our Yazaki's R&D Center in Zagreb: Advanced Connection Systems team.

When we say dynamic - we mean collegial Teammates, always following new technology and growing with their knowledge… And now we are willing to share their skills with you through a well-organized and inclusive Student Internship program!

During the internship, you would have the possibility to participate in development, design, simulation, modeling, verification and validation of automotive connection systems for the European automotive market.

If you would like to get better familiar with:

•EM simulations on how to simulate signal behavior in the automotive communication channels including signal integrity and EMC.
•How to optimize automotive communication channels.
•Lab validation of the simulated results.
•How to do component modeling as part of the Virtual Validation R&D activities.
•And last but not least- you would like to first-hand experience working in a global Japanese corporation & leading automotive parts supplier
.............then you are a perfect Candidate to apply for our internship!

Your Team members & Mentor have already prepared a detailed four-week (20 working days) Student internship program which covers some following topics:

•EM simulations basics
•Introduction to CST Microwave Studio
•3D model preparation for simulation
•Connector electrical performance simulation (S-parameters, TDR impedance, electric and magnetic field distribution).
•Comparison of simulation and measurement.
•Material influence analysis on the connector performance.
•Connector design optimization.
•Results analysis in relation to the lab measurement and specification requirements.
•Introduction to the process of testing and validation of automotive RF components.
•Overview of RF components (connectors, wires, terminals, PCB…) and introduction to basic test RF specifications.
•Basics of components circuit/mathematical modeling.
•Making and optimizing the component model.
•Applying different optimization algorithms.
•Integrating component into Virtual Validation library.
